Lynne is a retired teacher who worked for a total of thirty-four years in both York Region and Simcoe County. She loved teaching young children and especially loved watching them engage in learning new facts to add to their ever-expanding knowledge.

When Lynne was made aware of the books through Don Smith’s proposal to publishers of educational material, she began to study the current curriculum on-line and discovered that there were, in fact, far more connections to curriculum outcomes in these books than she had initially considered.  Lynne is now enjoying reading each new critter book and creating activities and suggested worksheets for eager learners! Just a few months prior to retiring, a friend said to her, “I don’t think you’re finished with teaching yet!” Perhaps she was right!
